Now, at long last, the processes of cultural evolution have generated another envelope, superimposed on the biosphere, i.e., a ‘sheet of humanized and socialized matter,’ which is the noosphere.
Honoring Sensitivity, Reconnecting with Source – Monday’s Super Full Moon in Pisces, Conjunct Chiron
This has been one of the more intense lunar cycles – are you feeling it?? We’re coming up on a Super Full Moon (the last of 2014) in watery, uber-sensitive Pisces, stirring up strong feelings and opening our psychic sensors. The energies peak on Monday (6:38 pm Pacific), and if you’re feeling overwhelmed, weepy, exhausted and/or escapist then you’re perfectly in tune with the cosmos.
The Pisces Full Moon highlights and heightens our sensitivity to other people and our environment, and the existential suffering that arises from the paradox of being spiritual beings in physical form. The high-vibration expression of Pisces is unconditional love, ecstatic divine union, a felt connection with all life. As the last sign in the zodiac, Pisces is where everything dissolves back into the ocean of consciousness, where we lose the illusion of separation and remember the truth of our infinite Source selves. The challenge is how to stay connected with that ultimate spiritual truth, how to stay in that vulnerable, heart-wide-open place, while being in our bodies and on the planet.
This Piscean energy has been strong since the start of the lunar cycle on August 25, when the Virgo New Moon opposed Neptune in Pisces. Now, as we approach the Full Moon, the core theme of the Virgo-Pisces polarity – healing the separation between matter and spirit – emerges more fully into awareness, opening the potential for revelation and transformation. The Full Moon closely conjoins with Chiron the Wounded Healer, highlighting all the ways we feel separate from Source, abandoned by God/Goddess, or disconnected from our own souls.
Chiron’s involvement with the Full Moon amps up the intensity, bringing the potential for existential crisis or spiritual emergency. Is it safe for my soul to come fully into my body? As a sensitive person, how can I handle living on this crazy-ass planet? With the ongoing onslaught of violence and trauma in the collective field, and our emotional bodies more porous than usual, this is a tough time for us sensitive types, and it can be easy to fall into shadow Pisces – addiction, escapism, victimization, helplessness.
Take a break from Virgo-season busyness to tend to your soul and feel your feelings. Honor your sensitivity and be compassionate with yourself. Unplug from the energy of collective trauma and reconnect with the ultimate level of reality, where everything truly is in divine order (despite apparent evidence to the contrary). If you feel overwhelmed by the suffering in the world, find one small thing you can do to relieve suffering in your immediate environment. Piscean paths to healing include music, dance, art, meditation, prayer, dream work and grief work.

The Harvest Moon, the Corn Moon, the Fruit Moon,
Tonight September 8th our last super moon of 2014, the third super moon of the year, both the mother and the crone, the goddess readying her departure as the god steps in, preparing for fall and Mabon, saying goodbye to the summer months. A time to count your blessings and heal, a time to harvest all of the spiritual growth you’ve endured throughout the past months. Reap the benefits of what you have sewn throughout the year. It is time to prepare for the upcoming winter months and the end of the cycle of life as the wheel turns. We celebrate tonight all the fruits of our labors, we dance beneath this moon with joy in our hearts. A great big beautiful super moon shining down in Pisces none the less, an emotional and receptive sign. Fortunately for me I live by the ocean, tonight I will be dancing to beating of drums in the sand watching the high tides roll in and out welcoming the full moon with friends. Take advantage of tonight, at least take a moment to peek at the moon and feel its magic wash over you. <3 Blessed be
It appears many of us went through some emotional intensity the last few days especially with this Harvest Moon. Moon in pisces and Chiron the wounded healer made for a pretty heavy, watery, emotional area of healing. It’s definitely about integrating New Energies as the Equinox approaches….
Yep. Huge shifts in my life. Making leaps and bounds. Drained as ever. And this post isn’t the first sign that it’s only me!
3rd Chakra- Solar Plexus Chakra The Manipura (Solar Plexus) chakra is located midway between the navel and base of sternum and represents are confidence, get up & go attitude, and digestion. When the 3rd chakra is open you feel in control, satisfied, joyous, and you laugh often! 👍 You are happy and feel like you are following your dreams. Everything is clear and in the ‘know’ and you like it that way. When the 3rd chakra is blocked, you feel trapped and that you have no control if your life. Imbalance may lead to tummy trouble of all kinds and low self-esteem. Also, feelings of anger, fear, anxiety, and worry. Ways to balance and make the Manipura Chakra happy- Yoga: upward bow pose & core strengthening poses (boat) Food: yellow foods (corn), grains & fiber (granola, wheat bread) Essential oils: peppermint, ginger, sandalwood, lemon #doterra #essentialoils #oils #chakras #manipura #yoga #balance #confidence #digestion
this is awesome except i disagree about eating wheat for solar plexus….
We, as spiritual beings, have the capacity to experience the transformative power of birth that connects us with deeper understanding of life. When a new human being that did not exist before, enters into our world, the veil separating our reality from the Great Unseen becomes very transparent for a short period of time. This gives us an opportunity to experience, first hand, the ecstatic bliss of ONENESS with all, a state in which separation does not exist, where Love prevails.
When Love is an integral part of the birthing field, a woman has access to the power of creation that is working through her. The more power there is in her field the less force she will need to use, because Love is a highly coherent field. And visa versa: the less power she has, the more force it would require to deliver a baby.
Now, how is one’s purpose learned? When a woman is pregnant, a hearing ritual is performed. In this ritual, elders will ask the unborn child, “Who are you? Why are you coming here? Why do you bother, this world is too messed up. What can we do to ease your journey?”
The baby takes over the mother’s voice and speaks back, “This is who I am. I coming to help uphold the knowledge of the ancestors,” or, “I am coming to do this and this.” And based on that information, the elders will prepare an appropriate ritual space in which to receive the child and make sure that everything is ready here before the child is born.
After birth, the elders make sure they surround the child with things that will help her remember and accomplish the purpose she has described. And when she reaches adolescence and goes through initiation, she has to go back to the time before she was born to remember what she said. This is because growing up is a process of forgetting; this body, as the elders say, takes away certain things from us as we grow. Up until the age of five or six, children remember things perfectly, but after that something starts to happen in the body that makes them forget.
